Hunt County, Texas has 2 animal shelters. They are NOT 'no kill' facilities which means no animal is safe there. If anyone you know is looking for a pet, please ask them to check on the animals available at either one of these locations. Their hours of business makes it difficult for a lot of people to go there but there are volunteer groups that maintain facebook pages with pictures and basic info on most of the animals currently available.
If HCPA can help in any way get one of these fur babies to you, please contact us IMMEDIATELY as time is always of essence when dealing with life and death time frames at any shelter.
